Dr. Htun Htun Zaw completed his professional degree of medicine and Surgery (M.B.,BS.) from Institute of Medicine (1) Yangon, Myanmar. He later completed Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Course, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Malaysian Trauma Life Support, Major Incident Response and Exercise and Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses from Malaysia followed by Ultrasound Critical Life Support Provider Course from Winfocus Italy.
Throughout 10 years service in Malaysia, he also completed courses in Emergency Radiology, Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Basic Interventional Radiology, Pediatric and Emergency Radiology, Basic Medical Forensic, Infection Control Update, 8th National Conference for Clinical Research 2014, Neurotrauma, National OSCC, 9th Pediatric Refresher Course 2014, 4th Psychiatric Refresher Course 2014, and Surgical Trauma from Malaysia.
Dr. Htun Htun Zaw is a member of the Myanmar Medical Council and Malaysian Medical Council. He also received “State Excellent Medical Staff Award 2011” from Johor State Malaysia. He was credentialed as Basic Life Support Instructor and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor from American Heart Association. At the same time, he was also a Facilitator for Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Pre-Hospital care, Disaster and Mass Casualty Management from HPSF Muar, Malaysia and an ED Examiner to assess Junior Medical Officer, House Officer, Paramedic from Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah Muar/Hospital Sibu, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Dr. Htun Htun Zaw is the First American Heart Association ( AHA ) trained Basic Life Support(BLS) Instructor and Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) Instructor to be accredited here in Yangon. He will conduct AHA accredited BLS and ACLS Provider Courses from PHSH.
