Dr Khin Thandar Myint obtained her MBBS degree in 1993 from University of Medicine (1), Yangon. She was awarded M. Med. Sc (Ophthalmology) in 1999. She did a one year subspeciality fellowship training course in cataract and glaucoma at National University Hospital, Singapore from 2002 to 2003. She worked as a senior consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Ji Vi Ta hospital. She acquired a wide range of ophthalmic knowledge, skills and performance in many eye surgery with good reputations in her carrier. She possess a sound knowledge of ophthalmology and is competent in diagnosis, clinical judgment and management of eye emergencies and common eye problems. In addition, she has been participating in charitable and volunteering work in a variety of settings for more than 10 years.
