Dr. Noel Ye Naung graduated from the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) with a BDS degree. He received Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Science (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He worked as a demonstrator in University of Otago, New Zealand and as a lecturer in Charles Sturt University, Australia for a total of 6 years. He received Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Charles Sturt University, Australia.

Dr. Ye Naung completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery International Fellowship Program at the University of Kentucky, USA. He is a fellow of International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has broad international experience in the clinical practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He attended and/or presented in many international training seminars, conferences, and hand-on courses. He published several scientific research papers in the international peer-reviewed journals. He is continuing to publish scientific articles in collaboration with University of Kentucky as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
