𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- To perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patients, develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments in accordance with Nursing Care Services.
- To administer medications and treatments as prescribed according to Medication Administration and Monitoring Policy.
- To monitor patient vital signs and condition, notifying physicians of changes.
- To maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all nursing interventions and patient responses to care.
- To provide patient and family education on health management and treatment plans.
- To demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with team members regarding patient care plans and while providing basic health education to patients and families.
- To ensure adherence to infection control protocols, maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
- To implement fall prevention measures and other safety protocols.
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects, to develop nursing care standards.
- To collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and assist in any procedures.
- To participate in patient care conferences and rounds, advocate for patients’ rights and preferences by addressing patient concerns and complaints.
- To participate in ongoing education and training, stay updated on current nursing practices and guidelines.
- To uphold infection control practice as required and follow the standard precaution.
- To identify patients in accordance with Identifying patients correctly.
- To check the stock on regular basis for right billing and stock consumption in non- chargeable items, maintaining the inventory level and placing orders if required.
- To supervise and ensure that equipment or devices are properly cleaned and stored after use.
- To communicate the mission, ethics, and goals of the organization.
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to departmental policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- To document, report and resolve any incident, risk management and quality issue as they arise.
- To initiate emergency action when required by using effective conflict resolution techniques and update the certificate of BLS every 2 years.
- To participate in the maintenance and uplifting the quality of the department. This may include but not limited to:
- Auditing services and materials.
- Assisting in data collection for analysis.
- Cleaning/Rearranging of the department as needed.
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Bachelor Degree in B.N Sc or Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid License holder in respective professionals.
- At least 1 year experience in the related field in Hospitals.
- Compassionate in Patient Care.
