𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Prepare the daily dose and take-home medicine for inpatients.
- Prepare medicine for patients according to the doctor’s prescription and dispense to outpatients.
- Explain drug information and provide medication counselling to ensure the safe administration and patient safety.
- Provide support for treatments and advise patients by providing recorded patient histories related to medical use.
- Check drugs that are nearing their expiry date, make a list, and inform the manager.
- Take stock at the end of the month.
- Participate in and execute the hospital’s quality improvement plan.
- Record cold storage drug temperature, room temperature, and humidity to maintain drug quality.
- Issue drugs to the sub-stores on the designated day, transfer them by ICS, and receive items from MMD.
- Enter the usage of controlled drugs in the CD register and check the stock balance daily.
- Double-check entries, preparation, and dispensing, especially for high-alert medication.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
