As part of the wider OUE Healthcare network, Yoma-OUE Pun Hlaing Hospitals continues to strengthen connections with healthcare institutions across the region, creating opportunities to share knowledge, learn from different healthcare systems and bring new perspectives back to Myanmar.
Our recent visit to CM Lippo Prince Bay Hospital in Shenzhen, China, provided an opportunity for our team to exchange experiences, understand different approaches to healthcare delivery and explore how ideas from across the network can be adapted to the needs of our communities.
For us, international collaboration is about more than connecting hospitals across borders. It is about connecting people, expertise and experiences — and learning from one another to help build safer, more accessible and more patient-centred care.
This commitment was further strengthened through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Xiamen University Hospital, China. The partnership creates opportunities for clinical knowledge exchange, medical education and specialised training, while supporting the continued development of our Cardiovascular Center of Excellence.
Since establishing our first hospital in Yangon in 2005, Pun Hlaing Hospitals has continued to grow across Myanmar. As we grow, our focus is not only on expanding our healthcare network, but on strengthening the knowledge, capabilities and connections that allow us to bring better care closer to the people we serve.
We believe the future of healthcare is built through collaboration — by learning from one another, sharing expertise and turning meaningful partnerships into better possibilities for patients.
Together, we continue to learn across borders, strengthen care at home and build towards a better future for healthcare in Myanmar.
